Lately, I have been freezing anytime I start to feel any type of stress or anxiety around tasks. Those tasks can be household items like piled up laundry that needs washed and folded, wedding tasks that I’m behind on, or pulling the bandaid off at work. I saw this article this morning but didn’t give myself the time to breathe and take it in. I am glad I read it tonight. The article talked about TAF; Think, Act, Feel.
When feeling stuck, Think about what you need to do and the direction you want to go through with the task.
Act, it’s pretty self explanatory but remembering to stop the negative self talk with the what if’s.
Feel, this is when you are able to reflect on the action and choices you have made. Sometimes this is the hardest part because I am not a fan of getting deep with my emotions BUT working to remember it is important to be mindful of myself and my emotions. I am working everyday to be a better version of myself and sometimes that is scary and that’s okay.
When in doubt: accept the problem, progress is always better than perfection, and momentum is your friend. 🧡 #latenightthoughts #selfcare #taf #shine #breathe #trusttheprocess #progressoverperfection #motivationismyfriend
